Those of you who know me personally and those of you who read what I publish here and share on my social networks know that I don't give up easily and that I try to find a way to overcome every obstacle. In that search for solutions, which is part of life itself, lies the constant learning that is always a wonderful gift... that's how I see it. We overwhelmingly receive the erroneous message that happiness lies in the absence of problems, a utopia that by believing it makes us weak and manipulable, looking outside for something that we can only find within ourselves.

Why do I say this? Because despite the countless difficulties that come our way, we have the ability to find one thing a day that was worthwhile. Because despite having had a horrible week, we can salvage one moment of that week that was worth it. Because even though there may be a month we would like to erase from the calendar, we would save a few days that were worth it... Because even though we are going through a few years of pandemic years that break our hearts, we also find reasons to keep going.

2021 is coming to an end, there are still a few weeks to go and it is now, before those special days arrive, that I like to take stock. The balance that is worthwhile for me is the one that makes me see all that I have to be grateful for, thousands of small things that allow me to take big steps, people who accompany me without knowing it because of that smile that allowed me to get up again, words that inspire us, that push us to catch our breath with all our strength and continue. To be grateful for the road travelled, for so many lessons learned, for the tears that carry away sadness to give way to hope, to be grateful that today I can be better than yesterday. To be grateful for the change of direction, of perspective, of new projects.

"Renew or die". We hear it too often, but.... How often we let new opportunities die for fear of renewal! I resist this death, this discouragement that ruins the illusion of being able to create another opportunity if it does not present itself to us. "Look to see y "Listen to hear". These two phrases are two of my favourites, they both contain discovery and that seeing and hearing goes far beyond our eyes and ears, they allow us to see the road ahead and to hear our steps on it . In a few weeks we will hear other figures, other balances (most of them negative) of what this 2021 leaves behind, but let's keep our own review of what this year may have meant to enrich our existence, in depth... let's discover ourselves.

Personally, it has been an intense year in which I have presented my project "Somos abrazo" to more than 150 foundations and institutions, one joined my initiative and a few days ago I received a positive response from another who sought me out when they discovered my work. This year I also joined the project of others, I grew in that confidence that comes from sharing the desire to give the best, from mutual learning. Through social networks we find new opportunities, sometimes they will bear fruit later on and other times what we manage to transmit and contribute will be fruit for others. Being part of El Club de las Mujeres (IN) Visibles is being a great adventure and belonging to Mujeres Líderes de las Américas and its Club Impulso, is allowing me to position Art as a true value for companies, thanks to its universal communicating power. I have had two solo exhibitions and recently participated in the Paintdemia group exhibition as a guest artist, presenting my work to the public is always a cause for celebration. Also 2021 has given me incredible encounters with wonderful people from which new and incredible projects have emerged.

The bad times were also with me, as is natural, and they made me feel fortunate for having overcome them, for having had the opportunity to meet that friend I lost, for having been able to accompany those who needed me, despite the sadness. For every lesson that came, for every mistake made and for having the courage to correct it. To give thanks for having so many people who believe in me is something that sometimes leaves me speechless, surprises and overwhelms me. To be grateful and to keep on creating, I don't understand any other way to reciprocate.

It has been another year of searching and inner discovery, as it is always worth living.
