Next Friday, 17th June, the final video of the first choreography with which we are launching this project will be presented at a press conference. A creation that takes the title that gives its name to this project and defines the sculpture from which it has emerged: "Somos Abrazo" (We are Embrace). Emily and Peter have done something wonderful on the original music that the great composer Elliott Chamberlin has created for us, a work always together, always connected by the desire to share emotions through the art that unites us.

The press conference will take place in Alcalá de Henares, in the Sala La Capilla of the old Hospital de Santa María la Rica, where the Department of Culture is located, and which already hosted the first press conference where we presented the project and where we announced the recording of this final video in locations in the city on 7 April. For the occasion, we will be accompanied once again by the Councillor for Culture, Ms. Maria Aranguren, who will receive the video that we will deliver to Alcalá de Henares as a thank you for their total support from the very first moment.

Ana Hernando 's sculpture that pays homage to those who died in this pandemic, "Somos abrazo", and which was inaugurated on 26 March in the Plaza Puerta de Madrid in the city, is the soul of this choreography in which, together with Peter James and Emily Chamberlin, six incredible dancers participate to give it shape. We have already introduced them to you in this blog, but we would like to take this opportunity to thank them again for connecting and working so intensely. Thank you!

At the end of the video all the people who have contributed to "Somos Abrazo. Art & Dance" and the sponsors who in some way have helped us to make this video, with all that this implies. This project has brought the best of all of us to the table and we want to share the credits also in this publication, so that our heartfelt thanks to everyone is on record. Moreover, they are all present on our website and we hope that this family will continue to grow, because that is how we feel about them. We would especially like to thank the haute couture designer with the brand "Siempre Elegante", Luba Usenko, for her dedication and enthusiasm in this project, for which she designed and made the costumes at an incredible speed, taking hours of rest and with an absolutely wonderful result. In the video you can see all the details. The truth is that we all slept very little those days.

Friday 17 June 2022 is already a special date for us. On that day we will also share our joy by publishing the video on this website. You will find all the details of this adventure that has just begun and you are invited to join us with your contribution in order to develop new choreographies on other sculptures we are still working on. The idea of "Somos Abrazo. Art & Dance" is to achieve enough choreographies to present a dance and art show that makes you feel and provides the emotion we need to continue believing in the best of human beings. To feel in art the essence that defines us. Emotions in movement. Two worlds fused into one with sensitivity, art to make you feel in a unique and universal way.

In these months of intense work we have only felt gratitude for all that this project means and for the generosity of all those who believe in this adventure and decide to be part of it, for those who are here and for those who will come... because this has only just begun. We start with illusion and committed to give the best of us to share our passion. Art to live and live to feel. We invite you, if you have not yet joined us as a patron of the project, to join us in this exciting project. We count on you, because together... We are embrace!
